HOW WE CLEAN YOUR ROOF

If possible we use roof ladders to access your roof and use tile scrapers and wire brushes to carefully remove the moss and lichen by hand from your roof, we cover all downpipes to avoid gutter blockages, once the roof is clean we empty the gutters wih our vacuum system to clear any blockages We then apply a light coating of Algo clear Pro treatment which will continue to kill any moss, Lichen and algae on the tiles over the coming months.

CAN YOU SOFTWASH MY ROOF

Yes your roof can be softwashed and Can we use a separate system that allows us to gently apply a cleaning agent to your roof and then this is brushed in to penetrate before rinsing off.

Roof cleaning using pressure washers is best done on a very low pressure, this is known as Softwashing. We only use softwashing methods to clean the tiles by gently blasting away moss and algae. Most tile manufacturers recommend this rather than high pressure cleaning as it can strip away the top layer of the tile reducing it’s life and sometimes the warranty.
